Manifesto Smíchov: a lively place in the heart of Prague
The new era of Smíchov is here, with the opening weekend of Manifesto Smíchov! From the 19th to the 21st of July, you can enjoy great music, food and drink. Manifesto Smíchov aims to pump life into the beating heart of the Smíchov community and has prepared a wonderful weekend for its visitors, encouraging them to rediscover its charm.
Manifesto Smíchov
You may already know the Manifesto Market, the design market in Prague Florenc. However, Manifesto Smíchov will not be a carbon copy of this popular container concept. So what does Smíchov look like?
The project was born in a somewhat neglected place –an unused yard in the National House Smíchov (‘Národní dům na Smíchově’). The remarkable container village that was built there provides many places to relax, a seating area with a green oasis and a water- surface, the perfect meeting spot. It offers visitors a unique taste of Prague’s cuisine, with street food, art, culture, music, dance and design.
Beer comes first
However, the priority will be the beer culture and the artistry of Czech brewers of the highest quality and widest variety. The first-class tank beer and carefully selected beers from small and micro-breweries will be served here on tap. And so, this delicious drink, which enjoys considerable popularity both here and abroad, will be Manifesto Smíchov’s biggest attraction.
Opening Weekend
What can you expect on the Opening Weekend? The beer will flow for the whole weekend and it will be served by masters of the trade. You will have even a chance to pour your own beer from the tap yourself, of course under the supervision of the experts.
The talented model, dancer, actress and now singer, Alžběta Ferencová, aka Zea, will provide exciting and enjoyable synth pop music.
The after-party, where DJ Sta, the founder of Zenith Music, will be playing house music, is unmissable.
Where there was nothing, there is now Manifesto. Come and enjoy a perfect weekend with your friends.
