Ice skating Ring Information

The City of Prague continues with its already traditional project Letná Ice Ring. Skating area on the Letenska plain is located near Milady Horakova Street opposite the Sparta football stadium. Apart from sports, visitors can look forward to an interesting accompanying program.

We cordially invite you to start this year's skating season, which will take place on the 1st December 2018 at the ice skating rink with an afternoon program for children. The following week we will celebrate Mikuláš together on the skating rink on Wednesday, December 5th. The ice rink operation will be extended this year to February 24, 2019.

EVENTS on this rink in will be:

• 5. 1.2019 - Slipping into the New Year
• 14. 2.2019 - Valentine's skating

This year, instructors are available for the public and for schools free of charge. We recommended to schools that want to use the ice rink services to book in advance. Schools that do not make reservations will not be able to use the instructor services.

CHANGES

Extending the operations from 1. December 2018 to 24. February 2019.

Standard large ice area (40 x 20 meters) + additional separated children's area (10 x 15 meters).

Better designed and covered facilities - heated large tent 10 x 15 meters with a gastro corner.

Skating school: providing instructors free of charge.

New facilities for renting ice skates and sharpening - quicker handling / delivery.

Outside the holidays it will be the same as last year, i.e., from 9 am to 9 pm.

GUIDELINES FOR RESERVATIONS AT THE LETNA ICE RING

- via the web: www.ice-tec.cz -> select Letenská Plain -> choice of the type of reservation, number of persons (limited number), date, time, -> filling in the contact details.

RESERVATION OPTIONS FOR SCHOOLS

"Bookings for schools" = reservation of a large area

"Skating lessons for schools" = reservation of a smaller ice skating area with instructors (max. 20 persons / 2 instructors), capacity is filled continuously

NOTICE
This is not an exclusive reservation - groups (schools) can meet both the public and/or another class. The number of schools (skaters) is limited due to the availability of equipment and safety. The ice rink is open to the public throughout the opening hours.

As part of an official booking, we offer free equipment for students (skates, helmets).

"Skating lessons for the public" - especially for skating lessons on weekends; we recommend that you register in advance. Pre-registered users have priority over non-registered visitors. Each lesson is limited to a maximum of 20 people. Reservation for schools can be made in person, by phone, email, or on the web.
