2.5.2019 — Velká Chuchle Racecourse in Prague has prepared an attractive novelty for its visitors. After a few decades, show jumping is making its comeback here. The first event will take place on Friday, the 3rd of May, and admission is free!

20.9.2019 — LUSTR, the international festival of contemporary illustration, takes place from the 19th to the 24th of September in Campus Hybernská. This year, the theme of the festival is freedom. The festival is an exhibition of current original illustration. Both the main and accompanying programmes point out key issues in today's society.

21.11.2018 — Prague City Assembly has 65 members that are elected in municipal elections by Prague citizens for a four-year period. The following parties, movement, and coalition are represented for the election period 2018 - 2022: Česká pirátská strana, PRAHA SOBĚ, koalice "TOP 09, STAN a KDU-ČSL", ODS, ANO 2011. Prague City Assembly holds a session once a month (or as needed) and its meetings are open to the public. Meetings of the Assembly are convened in writing and made available to the public. Prague City Hall Assembly decides on significant matters that concern Prague. It puts forward bills in the Chamber of Deputies and approves the Prague City budget, both of which have been previously discussed with individual city districts. Additionally, the Assembly approves the City and territorial districts development programs, issues generally binding regulations, grants honorary citizenships, and awards of the City of Prague. 23.3.2016 — Úklid černých skládek na území ČR proběhne dne 16. 4. 2016, vychází z mezinárodně osvědčeného modelu "Let's Do It!".

19.2.2020 — The National Pedagogical Museum hosts an interesting exhibition that tells the life story of Jan Amos Comenius (Komenský in Czech) in a unique way. The 'KOMenský v KOMiksu' ('Comenius in the Comics') exposition will be open in the museum building on Valdštejnská Street until the 31st of December 2020.

30.3.2020 — The black and rufous elephant shrew, (Rhynchocyon petersi) is a new resident in Prague Zoo's indoor African pavilion. Although it looks like a mouse, it is related to elephants and aardvarks.

31.5.2020 — Prague Botanical Garden has announced the reopening of the Fata Morgana Greenhouse! Visitors are able to enjoy the beautiful exotic flowers while walking through the tropical greenhouse.

5.3.2019 — From Monday the 4th to Friday the 15th of March 2019, the funicular from Újezd to Petřín will be out of operation due to regular spring maintenance.
