20.5.2023 — V rámci 9. ročníku festivalu Open House bude o víkendu 20. a 21. května v Praze zpřístupněno zdarma více než 100 běžně nepřístupných budov a prostor ve 12 městských částech, z toho celkem 27 novinek. Jedná se o budovy různých architektonických stylů, historické i moderní, zajímavé rekonstrukce nebo i domy, které na své nové využití teprve čekají.

16.5.2022 — Open House Praha - oblíbený festival otevřených budov, díky kterému se můžete zdarma podívat do běžně nepřístupných budov a prostorů v Praze, je zpět. Osmý ročník festivalu se uskuteční od 16. do 22. května. Těšit se můžete na 101 běžně nepřístupných míst.

8.5.2019 — On Saturday, the 11th of May, Prague Castle will officially open the summer tourist season. The seat of the Czech heads of state is on this day open to visitors completely for free. Apart from the opening of the summer season, the 100th anniversary of the Office of the President of the Republic will also be celebrated.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the academy's historic building in Vinohrady in Prague, built in the 1920s by the Czech architect Josef Gočár, and learn about the history of the academy. 13.10.2017 — Customary celebrations of the Independent Czechoslovak State Day include, for example, the appointment of generals by the president, the participation of the Head of State during the Castle Guard oath or awarding of State Honors in the Vladislav Hall at Prague Castle. Significant buildings that are otherwise inaccessible will be open to the public.

9.3.2023 — Nový lokální katalog otevřených dat, který jednoduše a přehledně zpřístupňuje data města občanům, spustila Praha počátkem letošního roku. Za jeho vývojem a realizací stojí tým datové platformy Golemio, který je součástí pražské městské společnosti Operátor ICT, a. s. (OICT). Nahradila tím předchozí řešení postavené na technologii, která však již nevyhovovala standardům publikace otevřených dat a bylo obtížné ji používat a dále rozvíjet. Jedná se o řešení, které je plně v souladu se světovými standardy, ale je i technologicky kompatibilní s Národním katalogem otevřených dat. I z toho důvodu bylo publikováno jako open source s licencí, která umožňuje použití jakoukoliv další institucí.

23.7.2020 — The palaces in Prague are opening after the coronavirus closure. The Government of the Czech Republic will open the unique Liechtenstein Palace on Kampa Island to the public on Saturday the 25th of July.

14.6.2020 — 'Hudební vycházky' (Music Walks) are outdoor classical music concerts which take place in Prague Zoo in front of Gočár's Houses. After fourteen successful years, the event has become a traditional part of summer at the zoo. Not only animal lovers, but also classical music fans, will be at the zoo every Sunday until the beginning of October. The open-air concerts will take place once again in front of Gočár's Houses at the top of the zoo for two hours on Sundays. More and more music lovers seek out the event for its informal setting and quality music.

19.1.2019 — Podkarpatská Rus (Carpathian Ruthenia), an exhibition of photos by Bohumil Vavrouška, will be open in the Josef Sudek Gallery, a branch of the Prague Museum of Decorative Arts, until 27th January 2019.

28.9.2020 — Prague City Gallery manages several dozen public sculptures. Some of them can be found in Charles Square (Karlovo náměstí) in the city centre. Some of the most famous among them are the statue of the scientist, doctor, scholar and biologist Jan Evangelista Purkyně, the statue of the writer Eliška Krásnohorská and the statue of the writer Karolina Světlá.

The development of the D metro line and new tram lines, large-capacity, convenient and comfortable transport, remains a priority. As regards bus lines, the city of Prague is preparing to adjust timetables in response to occupancy issues, especially in the quiet months of January and February, in order to make bus transport more effective.
