4.7.2019 — On the public holiday, the 5th of July, the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic will open both Hrzánský Palace in Hradčany and Lichtenštejnský (Liechtenstein) Palace on Kampa Island to the public.

1.12.2007 — Zítra 2. prosince 2007 se v tenisovém areálu Club Hotelu Praha uskuteční 11. ročník mezinárodního halového turnaje v tenise na vozíku „Prague Cup Czech Indoor 2007.“ Hlavní město Praha je spolupořadatelem této akce a na jedenáctý ročník poskytlo 350 tisíc korun. Pražský primátor Pavel Bém se zítra zúčastní finálového zápasu dvouhry hlavní kategorie mužů, následně pak ve 14.30 hodin vyhlásí výsledky a předá ceny vítězům mužské dvouhry i čtyřhry.

3.9.2019 — The theme of Science Festival 2019 is science in professions. Science Festival ('Festival vědy' in Czech) is a joint project by universities, academic and leisure institutions. It will take place on the 4th of September this year.

6.5.2019 — Prague Golf Challenge is part of the European Challenge Tour, which is the second-tier men's professional golf tour in Europe.

19.6.2007 — Největší prezentace Prahy v USA od roku 1989 a jedna z největších prezentací České republiky ve Spojených státech vůbec probíhá od začátku června v Chicagu. Při sérii kulturních, společenských, krajanských a dalších propagačních akcí vystoupily a ještě vystoupí desítky našich umělců. Sochař David Černý například v Chicagu nainstaluje sochu Man Hanging Out, průřez svou tvorbou představí Oldřich Kulhánek, vystoupí i Ondřej Havelka a jeho Melody Makers. Pražská informační služba spolu s Czech Investem nabízí americkým zástupcům turistického ruchu Prahu i Českou republiku jako atraktivní turistický cíl, proběhne Czech-US Business Seminar a k atraktivním částem dnů patří také historická výstava „Češi v Americe“.

12.6.2024 — V sobotu 15. června 2024 se z pražského Strahova vydá na různě dlouhé trasy až 3500 amatérských cyklistů.

30.6.2011 — V neděli 3. července 2011 se v Praze bude konat již 5. ročník tradičního mezinárodního závodu v dlouhém triatlonu „Czech Bigman 2011“, který je zařazen mezi nejprestižnější závody světové série. Akce je pořádána pod záštitou náměstka primátora hl. m. Prahy Antonína Weinerta. Cyklistická část tohoto závodu povede po Strakonické ulici a vyžádá si dopravní omezení na této komunikaci.

20.7.2017 — Dopravní podnik hl. m. Prahy (DPP) mění firmu na pronájem reklamních ploch na 300 autobusech MHD. Dne 26. června 2017 uzavřel smlouvu se společností Czech Outdoor, která tak poprvé po dvaceti letech střídá firmu Rencar. Změnu umožnilo výběrového řízení, ve kterém Czech Outdoor podal druhou nejvyšší nabídku ve výši 1,6 milionu korun.

8.7.2019 — On Saturday, the 13th of July, the oldest European streetball tournament - Prague International Streetball Cup - returns for its 17th year. The competition will take place in the heart of Prague, in Můstek in Wenceslas Square.

10.10.2012 — Hlavní město Praha se od 8. do 10. října zúčastnilo mezinárodního odborného veletrhu komerčních nemovitostí a investic EXPO REAL 2012 Mnichov. Praha zde návštěvníky i potenciální investory seznámila se svými nejvýznamnějšími projekty.

4.1.2019 — On Sunday, the 6th of January 2019, the Epiphany, you will have the opportunity to witness a special procession of the Three Wise Men (the Three Kings) on camels in the streets of the Czech Capital. The parade will proceed from Malostranské náměstí via Karlův most (Charles Bridge) to the Staroměstské náměstí (Old Town Square), where the Jakub Jan Ryba's 'Czech Christmas Mass' (Česká mše vánoční) will be played and sung, concluding the procession and the Christmas season.

29.6.2020 — 'Thank you Czech technicians' is an exhibition in the National Technical Museum, which expresses their gratitude to Czechs technicians for their help during the coronavirus pandemic. The exhibition will be open in the museum building in Letná until the 30th of September.

31.1.2020 — The exhibition at Prague Castle's Imperial Stables ('Císařská konírna') displays portraits by Czech artists starting with Josef Mánes, who was born 200 years ago this year. The exhibition, which was organised in cooperation with the Office of The President of the Republic, Prague Castle Administration and the Manes Association of Fine Artists, will run until the 22nd of March 2020.

28.8.2017 — Hlavní město Praha podporuje rozvoj digitálního vzdělávání na středních školách, které zřizuje. Zavádění digitálních technologií do škol je pro metropoli jednou z hlavních priorit. Dnes, 28. srpna 2017, byl učiněn další krok. Hlavní město Praha zastoupené radní Irenou Ropkovou, Ministerstvo školství, mládeže a tělovýchovy reprezentované náměstkem ministra školství Jaroslavem Fidrmucem a za Czech ICT Alliance Michal Zálešák podepsali Memorandum o spolupráci.

30.6.2010 — V souvislosti s pořádáním mezinárodního závodu světové série World Triathlete v dlouhém triatlonu Czech Bigman 2010 v neděli 4. července 2010 dojde k některým dopravním omezením na komunikacích hl. m. Prahy. Akce je pořádána pod záštitou primátora hl. m. Prahy.

1.4.2019 — In April, 'Mladí Ladí Jazz', the annual International Youth Jazz Festival in Prague, will bring seven evenings of concerts where world renowned stars will be performing, workshops and, of course, the traditional youth competition 'Jazzfruit'. The festival is looking for talents in contemporary jazz and the experimental scene from the Czech Republic and abroad, and introduce them to the public. Its main goal is to bring the attention of a young audience back to jazz music and restore traditions of this music in the Czech Republic.

26.9.2019 — RefuFest is a festival that creates space for people from all over the world to meet and express solidarity with refugees. Discover other cultures thanks to music, dance, theatre and other forms of cultural expression. The festival will take place in Invalidovna in Karlín in Prague on the 27th and 28th of September, while Thursday the 27th of September is reserved for schools.
