16.10.2020 — As a result of the further government regulations in relation to the coronavirus pandemic, Prague Zoo in Troja has had to close again. The zoo currently expects to close for 17 days, which means a big loss for the zoo. How can you help? Although Prague Zoo is largely funded by Prague City Hall, its resources are limited. Therefore, the zoo is asking the public for help.

24.3.2022 — Do výtvarné soutěže, kterou ke Světovému dni luskounů vyhlásilo hlavní město Praha a pražská zoologická zahrada, přišlo téměř 400 jedinečných obrázků. Porota měla nelehký úkol a nakonec vybrala 15 kreseb z kategorie Děti a 5 kreseb z kategorie Děti starší 15 let a dospělí. Vybrané obrázky budou vystaveny v sobotu 26. března v rámci slavnostního zahájení 91. sezony v pražské zoo. Vítězům gratulujeme, všem účastníkům děkujeme.

25.9.2023 — V den státního svátku, 28. září, oslaví Zoo Praha tradičně výročí svého otevření. V pořadí 92. slavnost nabídne návštěvníkům celodenní program napříč areálem.

26.9.2020 — The 28th of September is the Day of Czech Statehood. In Prague Zoo, this day is traditionally dedicated to the zoo's anniversary. The reopening of the Hippopotamus Pavilion and the introduction of the male hippoTchéco will be the highlights of this year's celebration. However, in order to maintain social distancing and prevent large numbers of visitors indoors, this part of the event will be broadcasted on ČT24 in the morning and visitors will be able to visit the Hippo Pavilion over the course of the afternoon.
