6.5.2010 — Pochodeň s ohněm přímo z řeckého Marathonu doslova přiběhl předat Roman Šebrle s deseti nadějnými mladými atlety do rukou primátora hl. m. Prahy Pavla Béma a Dany Zátopkové, olympijské oštěpařky a manželky čtyřnásobného olympijského vítěze ve vytrvalostním běhu Emila Zátopka, na Staroměstské náměstí. Maratónský oheň bude provázet celý letošní ročník závodu Volkswagen Marathon Praha pořádaný v rámci Prague International Marathon.

19.7.2019 — Do konce září bude v pražských ulicích kampaň zaměřená na pravidla, která musí turisté v hlavním městě dodržovat. Tu realizuje Prague City Tourism ve spolupráci s nočním starostou Janem Šternem a soustředí se na chování turistů v nejproblematičtějších lokalitách. V příštím roce na ni naváže dlouhodobá kampaň, která bude přesně zacílená na turisty díky výstupům z průzkumu agentury STEM/MARK o chování návštěvníků noční Prahy.

Open-air German language film festival

17.7.2020 — The sixth annual film festival Das Sommerkino screens films from Germany, Austria and Switzerland during the summer holiday season. The screenings take place every Tuesday and Thursday in July, and every Monday and Wednesday in August. Das Sommerkino offers the best recent German language films with free admission. The films on the festival's programme were mostly successful at previous years of Das Filmfest, and won a number of prestigious international awards. The films which deal with current topics, insights into the recent past, as well as historical films will please cinema goers in Prague. Those who appreciate fine arts and architecture will also enjoy this year's programme. A total of 18 films will be screened, which will be a kind of preparation for the traditional autumn film festival Das Filmfest.

Prague Spring presents: Rudolf Firkušný Piano Festival 2019

29.6.2020 — Střelecký Island ('Střelecký ostrov' or simply 'Střelák' to the locals) in the heart of Prague not only offers scenic views of Charles Bridge and Prague Castle, and romantic walks in the shade of mature trees, but has also become a place for free outdoor public dancing in recent years. Many dance programmes and workshops take place on a pontoon that has been anchored to the island for several years, offering an additional stage and dance floor. Dancing is a pleasant social activity, as well as a manifestation of emotions. Filmasia Festival to be filled with Hong Kong action movies

The festival is entering its fifteenth season this year. It has brought great Asian films to Prague since 2005.
