Městský mobiliář nabízí podle odborníků větší reklamní potenciál
12.1.2006 — Vedení města Prahy usiluje o úpravu smlouvy se společností JC Decaux, aby byla pro město finančně výhodnější. To je jednoznačný závěr ze včerejšího jednání mezi radním hl. města Prahy Pavlem Klegou a vrcholnými zástupci společnosti JC Decaux, která provozuje pražský mobiliář. Vedení města se o úpravu smlouvy podepsanou na začátku devadesátých let snaží již delší dobu. Impulsem byl posudek firmy Deloitte Czech Republic, ze kterého vyplynulo, že stávající smluvní vztahy nedostatečně odrážejí situaci na pražském reklamním trhu.
American Spring music festival online
10.5.2020 — The jubilee 15th American Spring International Music Festival ('Americké jaro') will take place with an online programme. If you can't come to the festival, the festival will come to you! Enjoy a variety of concerts in your pyjamas and with a glass of wine in the comfort of your home on the 11th, 14th and 19th of May. The festival will start online and continue live in the autumn.

5.9.2019 — From the 6th to the 8th of September, Prague will host the ICF Canoe Slalom World Cup finals. The series of top-class canoe slalom races will culminate at the artificial canoe slalom course in Troja, along with the Extreme Canoe Slalom CSLX World Championships 2019.

24.2.2006 — Cenu Nejlepší hotel v ČR předal dnes v pražském Planetáriu hotelu Hilton Prague radní Bohumil Černý. V anketě TTG Travel Awards, vyhlašované každoročně odborným čtrnáctideníkem TTG Czech pro cestovní ruch, letos odborníci udělili celkem devatenáct cen. Ty dnes při příležitosti konání veletrhu Holiday World předali ministr pro místní rozvoj Radko Martínek, ředitel odboru kultury, památkové péče a cestovního ruchu pražského magistrátu Jan Kněžínek a další čestní hosté.

Visit the popular Náplavka Farmers’ Market on the Vltava riverbank
24.2.2020 — 'Náplavka', meaning riverbank, refers to the embankment of the Vltava River between Palacký Bridge and Railway Bridge in Prague 2, a place where farmers' markets have regularly been held for 11 years. Even though it is not the largest in the Czech capital city, the market is unsurpassed with its friendly, relaxed atmosphere, which is one of the reasons that it is one of the most popular markets in the city. The 2020 season started in February, and the market is held every Saturday.

European Heritage Days start in Prague

British singer Jade Bird presents self-titled debut album in Prague
29.2.2020 — British musician Jade Bird will play her style of American folk music at NoD Roxy club in Prague on the 2nd of March. This will be her first performance in the Czech Republic. British singer-songwriter Jade Elizabeth Bird is rapidly becoming one of the most interesting young, female voices in music. She has distinctive vocals and strong melodies, and brilliantly interprets American folk for European ears.
