4.8.2022 — Městská společnost OICT začne testovat využití technologie obrazové analýzy a umělé inteligence pro pravidelné sledování veřejného prostoru, které odhalí odchylky od výchozího stavu a ohodnotí jejich závažnost. Shromážděná data budou metropoli sloužit k tomu, aby zefektivnila a zlepšila správu veřejného prostoru. Vyplývá to ze smlouvy, kterou začátkem týdne schválili pražští radní.

10.4.2012 — Třetí ročník charitativního Běhu pro gorily odstartuje Hlavní město Praha ve spolupráci se Zoo Praha v sobotu 2. června na Hradčanském náměstí. Závodníci v maskách primátů absolvují trasu dlouhou 5,1 kilometru, která bude končit na náměstí Republiky. Cenu získá nejen ten, kdo dorazí první do cíle, ale i dalších deset vylosovaných účastníků. Výtěžek ze startovného bude věnován na záchranu ohrožených goril nížinných v rovníkové Africe.

7.4.2020 — A nationwide project to support theatres, concert halls, clubs and artists has been launched. 'NIC' tickets have been on sale since the 1st of April. 'Nic' means 'nothing' in Czech and that is the aim of this project - as cultural events cannot take place, cultural institutions and artists need your support. According to Hana Třeštíková, Prague City Councillor for Culture, Czech people are inventive, so instead of simply asking for donations, they came up with a plan to sell tickets for 'non-existing' cultural events, which will (not) take place on the 1st of May.

21.9.2020 — The 'No night so dark' exhibition, which takes place in the Villa Winternitz until the 29th of November, will introduce you to the story of the First Republic architect Rudolf Wels' family. The story of the Wels family is a story that should not be forgotten. There is no better setting for the exhibition, as Rudolf Wels was a disciple of the famous architect Adolf Loose, who designed Villa Winternitz.

20.1.2020 — Prague City Gallery hosts an exhibition of Richard Janeček's work entitled: 'I Think in an Ideal World, it Would Have Ended Very Differently'. The exhibition, which is a part of the gallery's 'Start Up' series dedicated to young artists, can be seen in Colloredo-Mansfeld Palace until the 2nd of February 2020.

23.7.2020 — The large courtyard of the former barracks in Karlín in Prague is being used as an unusual open-air cinema for the second year. Summer cinema Kasárna Karlín (Karlín Barracks) screens classic movies both from the Czech Republic and abroad, as well as experimental films, from June to September.

25.10.2019 — The first official aerial sports championships in the Czech Republic and Slovakia will begin in Prague. You can come and see the elegant sport, where acrobats dance in the air with the aid of scarves, on the 26th of October in Královské Vinohrady. Aerobics and fitness are not as popular as adrenaline-filled sports. However, aerial acrobatics has recently experienced a great boom. And it's not just about the competition. Like any sport, aerial dancing can be practiced for fun.

29.2.2020 — The second annual Planet Fest, an event dedicated to our beautiful planet, will be held in Roxy Club, Prague on the 1st of March. Everything you need to thoughtfully enjoy your stay on Earth is there.

26.9.2019 — RefuFest is a festival that creates space for people from all over the world to meet and express solidarity with refugees. Discover other cultures thanks to music, dance, theatre and other forms of cultural expression. The festival will take place in Invalidovna in Karlín in Prague on the 27th and 28th of September, while Thursday the 27th of September is reserved for schools.

4.6.2004 — Lodě ozdobené dračími hlavami a ocasy vyplují o tomto víkendu na hladinu Vltavy. Atraktivní závody dračích lodí se konají v Praze již posedmé. Účast závodníků z celého světa slibuje návštěvníkům jedinečnou podívanou. Na pořádání akce se podílí hlavní město Praha.

7.3.2019 — Česko letos vůbec poprvé přivítá za podpory Magistrátu hl. m. Prahy unikátní světový turnaj ženského fotbalu Global Goals World Cup Prague. Registrace startují symbolicky 8. března na Mezinárodní den žen a končí 31. března 2019. Finále se odehraje na Václavském náměstí 29. května 2019 za účasti známých osobností ze světa sportu, politiky a dalších zahraničních hostů.

6.11.2009 — V Rezidenci primátora hlavního města Prahy zahájila včera odpoledne náměstkyně primátora Marie Kousalíková seminář nazvaný Čekání na ženský samet. Jde o jednorázovou akci u příležitosti 20. výročí sametové revoluce. Cílem semináře je na základě veřejné diskuse zhodnotit působení žen ve veřejném prostoru po roce 1989 v České republice, na Slovensku a v Německu.
