6.8.2020 — The 25th International Organ Festival will take place from the 6th of August to the 24th of September in the Basilica of St. James the Greater in Prague's Old Town. Festival goers will have the opportunity to enjoy solo organ recitals by leading Czech and international organists.

5.11.2019 — This year's 23rd annual Strings of Autumn international music festival will bring several exceptional concerts. Once again, the festival's programme contains a mix of classical music, jazz, world-music, and projects that don't fit into a set genre. The festival in Prague will last until the 13th of November.

29.4.2019 — On the 30th of April 2019, the 33rd annual festival 'Mezinárodní týdny tance' (International Dance Weeks) will culminate in the Hybernia Theatre. For the first time, artists from all three Czech National Theatres will meet on one stage!

And because the time when almost NOTHING cultural happened is, hopefully, behind us, now Prague can experience SOMETHING in the last weekend of September. 1.4.2019 — In April, 'Mladí Ladí Jazz', the annual International Youth Jazz Festival in Prague, will bring seven evenings of concerts where world renowned stars will be performing, workshops and, of course, the traditional youth competition 'Jazzfruit'. The festival is looking for talents in contemporary jazz and the experimental scene from the Czech Republic and abroad, and introduce them to the public. Its main goal is to bring the attention of a young audience back to jazz music and restore traditions of this music in the Czech Republic.

21.6.2007 — Poklidná kolonizace vltavských ostrovů a Janáčkova nábřeží pod krycím názvem United Islands of Prague započne v sobotu 23. června. Naladit se na nadcházející několikadenní nadvládu hudby mají Pražané možnost již dnes večer, kdy v Rock Café festival oficiálně zahájí primátor Pavel Bém, a především oslavou Svátku hudby, při kterém několik hudebních klubů v metropoli otevře návštěvníkům své brány zdarma.

Organizátoři se pro velký zájem rozhodli zopakovat festival United Islands of Prague a zavést mu zde tradici."Jsme přesvědčeni, že se festival v příštích letech stane jednou z nejprestižnějších akcí u nás," sdělil David Gaydečka, pořadatel festivalu Blues v lese, který se podílel i na organizaci prvních Ostrovů.
