16.7.2019 — From the 18th to the 21st of July, the fourteenth international meeting of amateur folklore groups will take place in the centre of Prague, bringing the richness and beauty of folk art from all over the world.

10.8.2019 — The Náprstek Museum of Asian, African and American Cultures recently opened a new exhibition 'On the banks of the Nile' ('Na břehu Nilu' in Czech), showing visitors the history of ancient Egypt and Nubia.

7.5.2019 — 'Concert for Europe' will take place on Střelecký Island in Prague on the 9th of May to celebrate Europe Day 2019 and the 15th anniversary of the Czech Republic joining the EU.

30.10.2019 — Like every year, Prague Botanical Garden is getting ready for the Halloween celebrations on the last day of October. Pumpkin carving, games, competitions, a bonfire and, of course, a pumpkin parade will be part of the celebrations. Come and join the Halloween celebrations in Prague Botanical Garden.

25.9.2020 — The romantic setting of the Gardens below Prague Castle offers a unique opportunity to relax and regain positive energy. On the 26th and 27th of September, visitors can also avail of the offer of guided tours.

23.9.2019 — Prague councillors have agreed to support the financing of the project preparation and partial creation of new routes for cyclists and pedestrians in northeast Prague. Districts 14, 18, 19, and 20, as well as Čakovice, Satalice and Vinoř, will plan to connect existing cycle paths by slightly adjusting field roads and third-class roads to create a unified and efficient network.

14.11.2022 — Pražané, kteří se dostali do exekucí kvůli nesplaceným poplatkům, pokutám či nájmům vůči Magistrátu hl. m. Prahy, jeho městským organizacím či městským částem, mají v těchto dnech poslední možnost využít akce Milostivé léto II a zaplatit mnohem menší dluh. Ze strany dlužníků je o akci i tentokrát velký zájem, končí však už 30. listopadu 2022. Hlavní město při této příležitosti spustilo informační kampaň, k dispozici je stále také bezplatná linka 800 100 000.

16.10.2019 — Das Filmfest, a festival of the best films in German, will take place in Prague from the 16th to the 22nd of October. This year's 14th annual Das Filmfest festival will feature new German, Austrian and Swiss cinematography.
