Tourism in Prague continues to rise gradually. In the third quarter of 2025, 2.3 million guests stayed in mass accommodation facilities, spending a total of 5.3 million nights. Year-on-year, 1.4% more tourists visited Prague, with the number of foreign tourists rising by 1% (a total of 1 876 696) and domestic tourists by 3.9% (a total of 375 307). The average length of stay was 2.4 nights – 2.5 nights for foreign nationals and 1.8 nights for locals.
Of the overall number of guests, 83% comprised international visitors. The largest number came from Germany (266 000), the USA (163 000), Poland (125 000) and the UK (119 000). There was a marked increase in tourists from Turkey, Israel, Saudi Arabia and Japan.
From a long-term perspective, the third quarter was the fourth strongest since 2012.
